I would buy a Camaro with the 5.3L V8 in it. What advantages would it have? Not sure, don’t care. The question is, would it wear the standard or SS body?

5.3 camaro in complete 4cyl base trim would be a cool sleeper.

That’s a really interesting thought! I have been turning it around in my head for a while now and feel like that would be a clever way of doing an ATS V-Sport Sedan and Coupe.

I would actually love some form of V8 in the RS body. The SS with the hood vents and bigger lower grille is a little too much I think.

I wish they would take an ATS sedan, badge it as a Chevrolet or a Buick, and put the 5.3l in it. That would be interesting.

For some people who value sound above a LOT of characteristics of a cars performance, like me, this would be excellent.

Yes! Maybe not a true replacement for the SS but it would be a hell of a flagship for Chevy. Keep the CTS wheelbase on the alpha sedan chassis and shove the 5.3L V8 in it. Dodge charger killer

It certainly would be interesting.

I’d wager if the Kia Stinger is a success, other companies may bring competition
